A Sedalia man charged for arson in 2018 has a court date scheduled.

Robert Modrall was charged with a felony for allegedly setting a fire in his own home. Modrall entered an Alford Plea to a Class D Felony for Second-Degree Arson and was sentenced to five years in the Missouri Department of Corrections on April 15, 2019. However, the sentence was suspended, and Modrall, was sentenced to five years of supervised probation.

The court filed a probation-violation charge against Modrall on June 2, 2023.

A counsel status hearing is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Monday, August 7 at Pettis County Circuit Court.
