A Kingsville man was seriously injured in a one-vehicle accident on Monday, July 24.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the accident occurred when 51-year-old Billy Ortan traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a ditch.

Ortan was transported to Research Medical Center with serious injuries.

The accident occurred at 10:34 p.m. on W Highway in Johnson County.
