The Odessa Board of Aldermen approved a contract for engineering and design of downtown infrastructure improvements during its meeting on Monday, July 24.

City Administrator Shawna Davis stated the contract was approved with Anderson Engineering for the services involving design and inspection of sidewalks on Mason Street.

The cost of the contract for design is $66,000 and approximately $40,000 for construction inspection.
