Several hundred customers in Marshall were without power on Wednesday, July 26.

According to MMU General Manager Jeff Bergstrom, an electric relay control operated incorrectly and caused the outage. Bergstrom stated the control was taken out of service and MMU is investigating the cause.

The power outage lasted approximately 40 minutes between 4:50 and 5:30 p.m. according to Bergstrom.
