A Grain Valley woman was seriously injured in a one-vehicle accident in Lafayette County on Sunday, July 30, 2023.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the accident occurred when 27-year-old Emily Gregson traveled over the crest of a hill and lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree.

Gregson was transported by Wellington EMS to Centerpoint Medical Center with serious injuries.

The accident occurred at 9:10 p.m. on Sni-A-Bar Road in Lafayette County.
