The KMMO listening area got some much needed rains in the early morning hours of Tuesday, August 1.

The KMMO studios recorded 3.25 inches over a 24 hour period. Reports of 5 inches were reported in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Waverly and Grand Pass received 5 to 6 inches of rainfall. A report from north of Interstate 70 on Highway EE also reported a total of 7.36 inches of rain.

Other reported rainfall totals include 5.6 inches in Mt. Leonard and a report of 3.4 inches on Highway 41 approximately 2 miles north of Marshall.
