The Marshall City Council approved the establishment of a code of conduct for elected officials during its meeting on Tuesday, August 1.
The code had been discussed by members over the course of several meetings and a final wording was approved. The complete code of conduct can be viewed below..
The council also heard a presentation by Missouri Valley College President Dr. Joseph Parisi on activities and the upcoming year at the college. Parisi stated Missouri Valley is offering 14 new online degree programs, over 20 new professional certifications and has gained over 20 new corporate partnerships.
In other news, the board set the date for the 2023-2024 Tax Levy public hearing. The hearing will be held on Tuesday, August 15 prior to the regular council meeting.
