Three Sedalia residents have been charged with drug-related felonies after an investigation conducted by authorities on Wednesday, August 2, 2023.

According to the Pettis County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with expired plates. The vehicle left a residence on South Lamine in Sedalia. The deputy observed that the occupants of the vehicle, Mark Nelson and Amanda Meyer, allegedly had baggies of methamphetamine and a glass pipe. Nelson reportedly tried to toss the drugs after the traffic stop. Both subjects were placed under arrest.

Later that day, authorities served a search warrant on the residence at South Lamine and made contact with three more subjects. A search of the residence yielded assorted paraphernalia to include pipes and scales, and approximately 6 grams of methamphetamine, a bag of Fentanyl weighing just under 1 gram, and Alprazolam. Shyanne Meyer, Bobbie Jo Williams, and Kristi Tittsworth were taken into custody.

Court documents say Nelson is charged with felonies for possession of a controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence. Amanda Meyer was charged with a felony for trafficking drugs in the second degree. Shyanne Meyer has been charged with a felony for trafficking drugs in the second degree and 2 counts of possession of a controlled substance. Williams and Tittsworth has been charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Williams, Nelson, and Shyanne Meyer have a counsel status hearing scheduled for Thursday, August 15 at Pettis County Circuit Court. Tittsworth and Amanda Meyer were arraigned on Thursday, August 3.
