On July 31, the deputy met with Stoney at which time she denied knowledge of the thefts. Later in the inteview, Stoney allegedly gave a written statement admitting to using the stolen information to make several online purchases.
According to court documents, Stony was charged with a felony for stealing and misdemeanor for fraudulent use of a debit card.
Bond was set at $10,000 cash or surety with 10 percent allowed.
Stoney had an initial appearance on Wednesday, August 2 and has a counsel status hearing scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 9 at Saline County Circuit Court.
