
The Missouri Department of Transportation has planned road and bridge work in Carroll and Chariton from July 31 to August 6.
All road closures and planned roadwork may be viewed on the Traveler Information Map.
In Carroll County:
Several bridge rehabilitation projects are scheduled on U.S. 24.
-One on South Route 24 over BNSF Railroad, east of the Highway 65 interchange is closed through August.
-And one on South Route 24 over Little Wakenda Creek, east of Carrollton is closed through August.
In Chariton County:
-Route D is closed for a bridge replacement project at the Clarks Creek Bridge through mid-October.
-Route 129 is closed for pavement repairs from Route NN to Cattle Lane from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. August 7-8.
-Route NN is closed for pavement repairs from Route 129 to Rascal Flatts Road from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. August 9-10.
-Route P is closed for sealing operation from Route 129 to the Macon County line from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on August 10.
All work is weather permitting.
