The City of Sedalia has announced street work beginning on Monday, Aug. 7, 2023 and continuing through Friday, Aug. 11, 2023, the City of Sedalia’s Public Works Department will be milling and overlaying West Main St. from the east entrance of B&B Theaters to Oak Grove Lane. During this period, lane closures will result in the roadway being reduced to a single lane of traffic and a reduced speed of 15 miles per hour.

Travelers are encouraged to use alternate routes whenever possible to avoid delays. Mill and overlay work will begin each day at 5:00 a.m. and continue through 6:00 p.m. Heavy equipment and workers will be present in the roadway during this period. Inclement weather or equipment breakdowns could delay completion.
