
Two Sedalia residents were arrested and charged after authorities served a drug-related search warrant on August 2, 2023.
According to a probable cause statement, the Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force, Pettis County Sheriff’s Office, and Sedalia Crime Resolution Unit executed a search warrant and took two subjects into custody.
Authorities found more than two grams of methamphetamine, two baggies of Alprazolam pills, several glass smoking devices, and several digital scales.
Jonathan Johnson and Melissa Clark were arrested and taken into custody without incident. Johnson reportedly has multiple prior convictions for drug-related felonies.
Court documents say both subjects are being charged with two felonies for possession of a controlled substance. Bond for Johnson has been set at $100,000 cash or surety. Bond for Clark has been set at $25,000.
Johnson has a counsel status hearing set for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 15; and Clark has a counsel status hearing set at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 22 at Pettis County Circuit Court.
