A Marshall woman was killed in a three-vehicle accident in Carroll County on Thursday, August 10.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred when a vehicle driven by 90-year-old Mildred Scott, attempted to pass another vehicle and struck a semi driven by 51-year-old Mark Scholle. The crash was a head-on collision.

Scott was pronounced deceased at the scene. A passenger in Scott’s vehicle, 83-year-old Willie Armstrong suffered serious injuries.

The accident occurred at 11:44 a.m. on Highway 65, south of County Road 350 in Carroll County.
