The Sedalia Police Department is searching for a man with an active warrant.

According to the Sedalia Police Department Crime Resolution Units, 39-year-old Richard Kohrs is wanted for tampering with a motor vehicle.

Kohrs is five-foot-ten and 240 pounds.

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Kohrs is urged to contact the Sedalia Police Department’s Crime Resolution Unit; or, if outside of Sedalia, contact your local law-enforcement agency or call 911. You can remain anonymous.

Authorities say you should not take any police action yourself.
