The Concordia Board of Aldermen reviewed the Fiscal Year 2023 third quarter budget during its meeting on Monday, August 7.

City Administrator Dale Klussman reported that the sales tax revenue projections are finishing below the budgeted amounts, but they are still close enough to what the board had budgeted.

Klussman also reported that expenses have been up this year as well.

Overall, Klussman said the board was pleased with the status of the budget at the end of the quarter.

In other news, a property tax levy hearing is scheduled for 6 p.m. Monday, August 21.
