The Sedalia City Council approved a resolution for the Sedalia Police Department to apply for a Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) during its meeting on Monday, August 7.

According to City Administrator Kelvin Shaw, the grant would be shared with the Pettis County Sheriff’s Department.

The total grant would be in the amount of $14,274.

In other news, Shaw stated the city is still in the process of gathering surveys to determine the future of Spring Fork Lake.
