Football is officially back as the Kansas City Chiefs begin play in the NFL preseason with a game against the New Orleans Saints.

The reigning Super Bowl champs have seen some changes in not only their roster, but their coaching staff as well as former offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy left to take a position with the Washington Commanders. The Chiefs are also dealing with the continued holdout of Chris Jones, who seeks a new long-term deal from the team.

Jones has held out all of training camp and skipped all of the team’s off season programs.

All that being said, the Chiefs look to continue their dominance over the NFL during the coming season. Kansas City had the number one offense in the NFL last year, leading all teams in yards, passing yards, points per game, and touchdowns.

Kansas City opens the preseason at 12 p.m. against the Saints. You can listen to that broadcast on KMMO FM 102.9.
