Marshall Public Schools Superintendent Caleb Petet stopped by KMMO to discuss some of the changes parents and students can expect for the 2023/2024 school year.

With the opening and closing of schools within the district, some students will be moved to different buildings in the district. Petet stated that fifth grade students will be out of the trailers, and into the Northwest Fifth Grade Center.

Also, second grade students will be moved to the Spainhower Primary School, and alternative students are being move to the old Central Office Building on the high school campus (grades 6-12 only) and the new Tom Butterfield Early Childhood Center (elementary students).

Petet also said there will be a new district-wide teacher evaluation system to help the district reach its academic goals for the year.
