The Knob Noster Board of Aldermen approved the annual property tax rates during its meeting on Tuesday, August 15.

A public hearing was held during the meeting for input on the proposed rates.

The approved rates for 2023 include:

-General Fund .6715
-General Obligation Bond .2166
-Fire Revenue .3000 (for a total of $1.1881 per $100 assessed valuation.)

The board also discussed updating the marijuana policy for city employees to stay in compliance with state and federal laws. City Administrator Scott Peterson stated the board tabled the update pending further discussion on how best to handle any situation that would arise.
