The Salisbury School District Board of Education took several actions in preparation of the upcoming school year during its meeting on Wednesday, August 16.

The board approved the 2024 District Tax Rate. $1.7197 is going towards capital funds project four and $2.7500 is going towards incident fund one for a total rate of $4.4697.

In other news, the board approved the Salisbury elementary and high school staff handbooks for the 2023-2024 school year.

The board set the next meeting for 6 p.m. Wednesday, September 20, 2023.
