The Glasgow Board of Education took several actions during its meeting on Wednesday, August 16.

The board approved the payment of $879,046 to Performance Services. The amount includes work done on the Bramble Hall restroom after fire damaged that occurred earlier in the summer.

The board approved a Local Compliance Plan for Special Education as well as reviewing co-curricular and extra-curricular programs and approved the salary schedule for those programs.

The board also approved the substitute teacher list for the coming school year. The district is reminding individuals a substitute teacher certificate simply requires a 20 hour online Department of Education course or 60 college hours.
