Two people were seriously injured in a one-vehicle accident in Carroll County on Friday, August 18.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the accident occurred when a vehicle driven by 38-year-old Kelly Wheeler traveled off the roadway and struck an embankment.

36-year-old passengers Tabitha Wheeler and a 16-year-old female were transported to Carroll County Memorial Hospital with serious injuries. Kelly Wheeler and a 17-year-old passenger suffered minor injuries.

The accident occurred at 1 p.m. on County Route 294 in Carroll County.
