The Missouri Department of Transportation has planned road and bridge work in several area counties from August 21-27.

All road closures and planned roadwork may be viewed on the Traveler Information Map.

In Carroll County:
Several bridge rehabilitation projects are scheduled on U.S. 24.
-One on South Route 24 over BNSF Railroad, east of the Highway 65 interchange is closed through August.
-And one on South Route 24 over Little Wakenda Creek, east of Carrollton is closed through August.

In Chariton County:
-Route D is closed for a bridge replacement project at the Clarks Creek Bridge through mid-October.
-Route NN is closed for pavement repairs from Route 129 to Rascal Flatts Road from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. August 21.
-Route 129 is closed for pavement repairs from Route PP to Route NN from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. August 22-24.

All work is weather permitting.
