The Odessa Board of Aldermen approved a strategic highway safety plan with the Missouri Department of Transportation during its meeting on Monday, August 14.

City Administrator Shawna Davis stated the agreement is in conjunction with a grant for an additional speed radar sign in the school zone area.

Davis also stated the board approved conflict of interest ordinance for city officials. The ordinance is required by state statute every two years.
