Adele M. “Del” Scott, 84, of Marshall Junction, MO, died Monday, August 21, 2023, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, MO.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 28, 2023, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials are suggested to the Saline Animal League. Born October 27, 1938, in Queens, NY, she was the daughter of the late John Tschantre and Adele Fessler Tschantre. On August 21, 1971, in St. Louis, MO, she married the love of her life Ronald Clayton Scott who preceded her in death on November 10, 2015. In the mid 1970’s they made their permanent home at Marshall Junction on the original Scott farm. Adele worked at T.A. Travel in Concordia, MO for more than 20 years until her retirement in 2007. She enjoyed living on the farm caring for her flowers and her many pets. She was a member of the Saline County Democrat Club, Saline County Extension Club and American Legion Women’s Auxiliary.

Survivors include many friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Eileen Tschantre Bach and Joan Tschantre.
