A Franklin man has been charged with several felonies after being caught by the Howard County Sheriff’s Office.

According to the Howard County Sheriff’s Office, authorities located Dale Trenholm is his vehicle in New Franklin. Trenholm has an active Cooper County warrant for his arrest.

Authorities searched the vehicle Trenholm was in and located methamphetamine and a hypodermic needle, which Trenholm was trying to hide.

Court documents say Trenholm is charged with felonies for possession of a controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence in felony prosecution. Bond has been set at $10,000 cash only.

No court dates have been set at this time.
