The Higginsville Board of Aldermen set the 2023 Tax Levy during its meeting on Monday, August 21.

The board held a public hearing to discuss the rates. City Administrator Jeanette Dobson said the rates haven’t changed since 2021.

The board approved a bill to set the tax levy.

In other news, the board decided to move the date of its next meeting from September 4 to September 5 due to the Labor Day Holiday.
