The Higginsville Board of Aldermen considered a bill to amend Chapter 635, which deals with mobile food vendors, during its meeting on Monday, August 21.

City Administrator Jeanette Dobson said the amendment allows mobile food vendors to show up at Lafayette County C-1 School events without requiring a permit.

The board approved the bill to amend Chapter 635.

In other news, the Higginsville Country Fair is scheduled for Saturday, September 16.
