The Carroll County Ambulance District will hold a Public Tax Hearing at 6 p.m. Tuesday, August 29.

The Proposed 2023 Tax Rate is $0.1975 per $100 of assessed valuation.

The tax rate is determined by dividing the amount of revenue required by the current assessed valuation. The tax rate will be set to produce the revenues which the budget for the fiscal year shows to be required from the property tax.

The board will hold a regular meeting after the conclusion of the Tax Rate Hearing.
