A Boonville man was injured in a one-vehicle accident in Lafayette County on Monday, August 28.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a vehicle driven by 70-year-old Mark Welch was westbound on the north outer road east of Concordia. Welch failed to negotiate a curve and struck a guardrail.

Welch was transported by Concordia EMS to Western Missouri Medical Center with moderate injuries.

The accident occurred at 4:55 p.m.
