A Sedalia man on a motorcycle was seriously injured after a collision with a vehicle on Wednesday, August 30.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a vehicle driven by 18-year-old Sabin Czajak entered the turn lane and failed to yield to the motorcycle ridden by 27-year-old Alex Schwinke. The vehicle struck the motorcycle ejecting Schwinke.

Schwinke was transported to University Hospital with serious injuries.

The accident occurred at 8:42 p.m. on Highway 65 at West 20th Street in Sedalia.
