The Sedalia School District Parents As Teachers program will offer free developmental screenings for children age 3 months to 5 years on Wednesday, September 13, and Thursday, September 14 at the Loftus Early Childhood Center located at 2004 Tiger Pride Boulevard. Screening times are 3:30, 4:45, or 6 p.m.

Screenings are by appointment only and eligible children must be residents of Pettis County and not yet in kindergarten. The areas screened include speech, vision, hearing, language, readiness and motor skills; there also is a health questionnaire. Going through the screenings does not automatically qualify your child for the preschool program.
