The Concordia Board of Aldermen discussed a resolution to alter the location of the sidewalk placement for a 2020 CDBG Project during its meeting on Thursday, August 31.

The 2020 project was initially set to take place on the west side of Main Street. City Administrator Dale Klussman said the property owner requested for the sidewalk to be placed on the east side.

The board passed a resolution that states the intent to change the scope of work for the project.

In other news, the board approved a request for use of the Concordia Park for the “Walk for Freedom” event on Saturday, October 14.
