The Boonville City Council approved an agreement with C&S Companies, Inc. to extend the city waterline to Jesse Viertel Memorial Airport during its meeting on Tuesday, September 5.

City Administrator Kate Fjell stated the extension will run from the water tower next to Main Street to the newly annexed area at Highway 87 with construction to begin in the fall.

The total cost of the project is $1.55 million.

In other news, the council approved the use of Main Street for the annual Homecoming Parade on Friday, October 6.
