The Blue Jays scored four runs on Zack Greinke, who pitched 3 2/3 innings of relief. Greinke dropped to 1-15 on the season.
Springer hit two home runs and drove in four for Toronto. Edward Olivares hit his tenth homer of the season for Kansas City.
Kansas City has the worst record in baseball at 44-99.
