4 p.m. Update: The city has now issued a 48 hour Boil Advisory  for residents on the three blocks on the west side of Main Street from Front Street to Parker Street.

Certain Slater residents will be without water while the city installs water service for a new laundry mat.

According to the city, three blocks of Main Street on the west side will be without water for s short period of time.

A boil advisory will go into effect once water is back on.
