Two individuals on a motorcycle were injured in a crash in Carroll County on Sunday, September 10.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred when the motorcycle entered the road in the path of a vehicle driven by a Yuma, Arizona man.

43-year-old Richard Tietjens of De Witt suffered serious injuries and 37-year-old passenger Brandon Sizemore suffered moderate injuries. Tietjens was transported by Life flight to University Hospital and Sizemore was transported North Kansas City Hospital.

The crash occurred at 4:10 p.m. on Highway 24 just east of Highway 41 in Carroll County.
