A Stover man was killed in a one-vehicle accident in Morgan County on Wednesday, September 13.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the accident occurred when a vehicle driven by 79-year-old Michael Kern crossed the center of the roadway and overcorrected causing the vehicle to skid. Kern’s vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway overturning and striking a tree.

Kern was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The accident occurred at 10:57 p.m. on Ivy Bend Road in Morgan County.
