
The Missouri Tigers upset the Number 15 Kansas State Wildcats 30-27 thanks to a 61-yard field goal as time expired in the fourth quarter on Saturday, September 16.
The Tigers held a halftime lead, but trailed 24-17 going into the fourth quarter. The Tigers quickly scored ten points to take a three point lead, but the Wildcats tied it with a field goal with 5:25 left in the game.
After getting the ball back with 1:25 left, the Tigers marched to the Kansas State 44 yard line, where Harrison Mevis kicked a 61-yard field goal as time expired to help the Tigers win the game.
Mizzou quarterback Brady Cook went 23 of 35 for 356 yards and two touchdowns. Cook also ran for an additional score. Luther Burden III caught seven passes for 114 yard and two touchdowns.
The Tigers improve to 3-0 on the season, while the Wildcats fall to 2-1.
