
An Odessa man was injured in a crash after attempting to flee from authorities on Monday, September 18.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred when a vehicle driven by Tye Reynolds was attempting to elude law enforcement and failed to stop at an intersection. Reynolds’ vehicle traveled off the left side of the road, down an embankment and struck a tree before coming to a rest.
Reynolds was transported by life-flight to Research Medical Center in Kansas City with serious injuries.
The accident occurred at 12:25 a.m. on Old 40 Highway just west of Route WW in Lafayette County.
