
The Salisbury Board of Aldermen approved the purchase of a police vehicle during its meeting on Thursday, September 14.
Police Chief James Cole shared a quote with the board for a 2024 F150 Super Cab with a base price of $42,856. The board included running boards to the purchase, which added a $250 charge, bringing up the total price to $43,106.
The board approve the purchase of the vehicle.
In other news, the board approved an event request from the Salisbury Main Street organization for a “Trick or Street” downtown Halloween event from 6-8 p.m. October 29.
Also, the board approved the appointments of Shane Snodgrass, Melita Monnig, and Denise Gordon to the Park Board.
