A road closure is scheduled just outside of Sedalia city limits due to a bridge inspection.

South Grand Avenue Road will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, October 4.as the Missouri Department of Transportation conducts a routine bridge inspection of the truss bridge. No traffic will be allowed during the process.

The truss bridge is located approximately 1.75 miles south of the Sedalia city limits. Road signs will be placed as a reminder that traffic will not be allowed through.
