Two Warrensburg residents were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Johnson County on Wednesday, September 20.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred when a vehicle driven by 21-year-old Dalton Rucker traveled into the path of a vehicle driven by 60-year-old Lance Tucker. Rucker’s vehicle began to skid and travel off the left side of the roadway. Tucker’s vehicle traveled off the right side of roadway before striking an embankment.

Lance Tucker and 22-year-old Kayley Tucker were transported to Western Missouri Medical Center with serious injuries.

The crash occurred at 4:28 p.m. on Missouri 13, south of Route JJ in Johnson County.
