
Property damage has been reported at one of the restrooms on the Marshall Parks and Recreation property on Thursday, September 21.
According to the Marshall Police Department, the damage was reported at the North Point Shelter restrooms. Police observed the urinal in the men’s restroom to be broken and what appeared to be remnants of a fire on the floor. They also observed what appeared to be fake spider webs on the ceiling. The paper towel dispenser and the toilet paper dispenser appeared to be broken.
The damage costs an estimated $500 to repair. The Parks and Recreation Department plan to lock some of the restrooms at night to avoid future issues.
The incident is currently under investigation by Marshall Police.
