A Norborne man was injured in a UTV accident on Friday, September 22.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred when a UTV driven by 53-year-old Michael Rimmer began to accelerate quickly, crossed the roadway, and rolled over in a ditch before coming to a rest on its passenger side.

An occupant of the UTV, 55-year-old Robert West, suffered moderate injuries.

The accident occurred at 10:30 p.m. on County Road 151, south of County Road 300 in Johnson County.
