
The Pettis County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Sedalia man who had a warrant for first degree arson on Tuesday, September 12.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, deputies were advised that Ezra Rhodes was wanted on a $100,000 Pettis County warrant.
Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Rhodes, who was driving with a suspended license. Authorities searched the vehicle and located a glass pipe with a white residue, a digital scale, and a pill bottle with several baggies inside.
The white residue tested positive for methamphetamine.
Court documents say Rhodes is charged with a felony for possession of a controlled substance; and a misdemeanor for driving while revoked/suspended. Bond was set at $7,500 cash or surety.
Rhodes is due for a bond reduction hearing at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 26 at Pettis County Circuit Court.
