The Kansas City Royals continued to cause some chaos in the American League playoff picture by completing a sweep of the Houston Astros with a 6-5 win on Sunday, September 24.

Nelson Velazquez homered twice for Kansas City. Salvador Perez hit his 22nd home run and Matt Duffy also went deep as the Royals jumped all over Hunter Brown.

Alec Marsh picked up the win after pitching 5 1/3 of relief. James McArthur earned his third save.

The surging Royals have won six in a row, and 10 of its last eleven.
