Three Johnson County residents were injured in a crash on Missouri 23 on Saturday, September 23.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred when a vehicle driven by a 16-year-old juvenile attempted to turn and traveled into the path of a vehicle driven by 25-year-old Aleksey Lyle. Lyle’s vehicle struck the from passenger side of the juvenile’s vehicle.

A passenger in Lyle’s vehicle, 22-year-old Megan Agler suffered serious injuries. The juvenile driver and a passenger in her vehicle suffered moderate injuries.

The accident occurred at 6:15 p.m. on Missouri 23 at Spirit Boulevard in Johnson County.
