Saline County Clerk Brittni Burton reported that her office is preparing for the April 2024 election during the Saline County Commission meeting on Wednesday, September 27.

Burton said there is a lot work that needs to be done before candidates can begin filing in December.

Burton also discussed the “I Voted” sticker contest that her office is holding.

In other news, the Saline County Commission approved a request from the Saline County Holiday Project for use of the courthouse as a drop-off location for food items and toys. Burton offered to use the front her office as the drop-off location for those items. The commission approved the request.
