The Detroit Tigers defeated the Kansas City Royals 6-3 on Tuesday, September 26, ending their six-game win streak.

Zack Greinke went five scoreless innings, striking out five. The Royals built a 2-0 lead after RBI hits from Nick Pratto and Salvador Perez.

The Royals bullpen would blow the lead, allowing three runs over the final three frames. Parker Meadows and Akil Baddoo both went deep for the Tigers.

Reese Olson went 5 2/3 innings, giving up two runs on five hits. He struck out seven and walked two.

Kansas City falls to 54-103 with the loss. The Royals are still 8-2 over their last ten games.
